Laura began studying Tibetan Buddhism along with Sanskrit and Tibetan in 2011 when she enrolled at Naropa University. After receiving her master’s degree in 2014, she engaged with a number of editorial, organizational, and research projects ever since, working with the Tsadra Foundation and Shambhala Publications and as a freelance editor for works related to Buddhism studies. She also subsequently spent time studying Tibetan Eastern Tibet and North India. Laura joined 84000 in 2017 as a digital editor and later worked as a copyeditor. She is currently completing her PhD at the University of Vienna. Laura grew up in upstate New York and received her BA in English and creative writing from Cornell University.
