What happens to the Buddha's words when artificial intelligence enters the picture?

84000's Andreas Doctor joins scholar and teacher Heidi Koppl for a live conversation on one of the most pressing questions facing Buddhist translation today: whether AI can carry the depth, nuance, and living understanding that authentic transmission requires. Drawing on first-hand experience translating Buddhist texts, they'll examine what's at stake when algorithms enter the sacred work of preserving the Dharma — and what "transmission" has always really meant.
