Dr. Adam C. Krug, Associate Translator at 84000, will be speaking at the Padmasambhava, Uḍḍiyāna, & Tibet webinar series hosted by the University of Oxford's Tibetan and Himalayan Studies Centre. In his talk, "The Oḍiyāna Mahāmudrā Lineage: Textual Communities and the Construction/Reconstruction of Institutional Identities," Adam will explore the transmission of the Grub pa sde bdun (The Seven Siddhi Texts), their role in Tibetan Mahāmudrā traditions, and how Buddhist textual traditions actively participate in the creation and continuation of communities and institutions.
